I used to love going into bertrands however had the worst restaurant experience in my life there I will not be returning again. The Chicken Noodle soup was carrot noodle. The server was never there and it was a slow day Our food by the time it fianally came out looked like it had been in a tanning bed even my mayo was that gross yellow color one bite and we both looked at each other and said I don't think I can eat this after looking for our server to no avail she still hadn't come back to check on us we flagged down the bartender and after explaining our problem to the uncaring waitress we werer handed a bill!! for our soup salad and soda. I thought this was a friendly local place guess i was wrong. 2 thumbs down go to the Golden Mast great place and consistent.

From the moment we walked in the experience was odd. They wouldn't sit us in the dining room even though tables sat empty the whole we we were there. The waitress was downright rude. The prime rib was good but the drinks were not. Three brandy old fashion sours and I don't think any of them had any alcohol in them. Check your bill, we had a $25 post card gift certificate and somehow an additional $30 appeared on our bill. Drinks appeared on our table, without us ordering them - one of which was added to our bill. We won't be returning.

Dear Sir or Ms.: My husband & I recently read your review of your recent visit at our establishment. On Saturday, 9/26, you were not seated immediately due to pending reservations. This is why so many restaurants do not accept reservations. You must hold tables empty if you don't believe there is an adequate dining time for someone prior to an open rsvp. As for the additional $30 added to your bill, we sincerely apologize. Your server added the drinks, accidentally, from the neighboring table. Ribs are world class

Again, I hate writing a review for this place because i dont want to have to wait for a table. Far and away the best ribs on planet earth. A little slice of heaven. Mike is a genius with BBQ sauce-- like Picasso, but with BBQ.

Great Place Love the food and love the view of the lake
